LEASIDE downs CAMBRIDGE in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Emma Pye (A) gave LEASIDE a 4-3 (OT) victory over CAMBRIDGE when she scored 2:57 into the extra period.

Pye (A) was all over the ice for LEASIDE, as she tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Pye (A) scored the first of her two goals at 9:10 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Rachel Knee picked up the assist. Pye (A)'s next tally made the score 4-3 LEASIDE with 17:03 left in overtime.

LEASIDE put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow CAMBRIDGE to score on any of its five power plays.

Kristin Della Rovere also scored for LEASIDE. More assists for LEASIDE came via Brooklyn Sarnovsky, Olivia Reid, and Cynthia Cavanagh (C), who each chipped in one.

CAMBRIDGE was helped by Emily Woodhouse (A), who finished with one goal. Woodhouse (A) scored 5:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 CAMBRIDGE. Sarah Verbeek provided the assist. CAMBRIDGE also got points from Alyssa Chiarello (A), who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. CAMBRIDGE also got a goal from Alyssa McLeod as well. Other players who recorded assists for CAMBRIDGE were Shelby Wood, Annie Berg, and Morgan Rolph (A), who contributed one each.

LEASIDE took out Danielle Toland after she had made 14 saves and installed Katie Mowbray in goal, where she finished with 13 saves and the win. LEASIDE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Caitlin Kroetsch made 21 saves for CAMBRIDGE on 25 shots. CAMBRIDGE incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
