Qatar To Take on Kuwait in GCC Ice Hockey Championship 2016
DOHA, February 01, 2016 – The Qatari Ice Hockey team will take on their Kuwaiti counterparts in the semifinals of the 4th GCC Ice Hockey Championship on Monday.
Earlier on Saturday, Qatar defeated Oman 5-3.
The prestigious event is organized by the Qatar Winter Sports Committee (QWSC) from January 28 to February 2 with participation of four GCC nations including hosts Qatar, UAE, Kuwait and Sultanate of Oman.
The Qatar squad includes; Saud Rabea Al Kuwari, Abdullah Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, Thamerr Abdullah Al Mohannadi, Ahmad Fakhro, Nayef Al Rumaihi, Abdullah Al Amir, Ali Al Amir, Abdullah Al Banai, Mohammad Khalaf, Mohammad Al Kaabi, Jassim Al Sheep, Saud Al Kuwari, Saad Al Meselmani, Ahmad Al Sulaiti, Mohammad Waleed, Abdulaziz Fakhro, Mohamad Al Mehaizaa, Jassim Fakhro, Turkey Al Haidus and Abdulrahman Al Ashqar.
