BURLINGTON downs CAMBRIDGE, 3-0

Kelsie Mahussier tallied two points to lead BURLINGTON to a 3-0 victory over CAMBRIDGE.

BURLINGTON excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances.

BURLINGTON also got points from Isabelle Mastantuono, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Megan Laviolette also scored for BURLINGTON. In addition, BURLINGTON received assists from Trisha Cho, who had one and Melissa Bieman, who had two.

CAMBRIDGE managed to stay out of the box better than usual, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. CAMBRIDGE finished below its season average of 8.0 penalty minutes per game. CAMBRIDGE was held below its usual level of production. CAMBRIDGE averages 2.8 goals per game. BURLINGTON's defense shut down CAMBRIDGE's forwards for much of the game, and CAMBRIDGE got off only 14 shots during the contest.

BURLINGTON took out Susannah Dunn after she had made eight saves and installed Dagny Hudspeth in goal, where she finished with six saves and the win. BURLINGTON incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Ashley Clark (PU) made 18 saves for CAMBRIDGE on 21 shots.
