Rochester Hills, MI – The Rochester College Warriors are pleased to announce the signing of forward, Zach Bourcier, for the 2016-2017 season.

During his season of ACHA play, Bourcier posted 41 goals and 34 assists for a total of 75 point in 28 games. Prior to joining the Saints, Zach spent two seasons with the TriCity IceHawks of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League (MNJHL). In his 87 games played, he scored 59 goals and added 51 assists for a total of 110 points. In 2011-2012, Bourcier appeared in 28 games with the NA3HL’s Michigan Moutaincats. He found the back of the net 8 times and added 2 assists during that season.
Zach will join a forward group that includes 10 upper-classmen and he will be counted on to provide scoring depth and competition.
Coach Cagnet’s comments on Zach: “First, and most importantly, Zach is a competitive guy who loves the sport of hockey. He is committed to doing everything he can to get on the ice and he is looking forward to playing our level and style of hockey. He will bring speed, energy and scoring and will push some of our returning forwards for playing time. I expect Zach to be an important contributor to our team’s success before the season ends”.
Bourcier’s comments on committing to RC: “I am excited to be going to college so close to home. I chose RC because it is small and hands-on, which is helpful when going to school. I bring speed, hard work, and just an overall love of the sport, so I am ready to give it my all. Hopefully we can pick up some key wins, and get a bid to nattys”.
