Kelly nets hat trick, leads Junior Red to 11-5 win over Junior White

A hat trick by Rowan Kelly was the highlight in 's 11-5 win against Junior White. Kelly notched his first tally 7:42 into the 2nd quarter. Then added goal at 10:34 into the 2nd and at 15:44 into the 2nd.

Junior Red additionally got points from Jack Kelly, who also registered four goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Junior Red also got a goal from Justin Turner as well. In addition, Junior Red received assists from Sam Gower and Branden Hunt, who contributed two apiece and Andrew Deryck and Bailey Brown, who each chipped in one.

Junior White's offense operated below it season average. Junior White averages 9.1 goals per game.

Junior White was helped by Matthew Gorman, who racked up one goal. Gorman scored 9:53 into the first period to make the score 3-3. Aidan Conlon claimed the first assist on the goal, and Colin Grimes got the second. Junior White also got points from Marshall Stevens, who also registered one goal and one assist and Luke Stevens, who also registered one goal and one assist. Scott Del Zotto also scored for Junior White. Other players who recorded assists for Junior White were Grimes, James Vezina and Conlon, who contributed one apiece.

Junior Red took out Cam Macleod after he had made 20 saves and installed Brown in goal, where he finished with 17 saves and the win. Kevin Orleman took the loss and made 11 saves before being replaced by Steven Orleman who made 10 saves. Both Junior Red and Junior White won zero faceoffs. Macleod led Junior Red with zero wins and Orleman won zero for Junior White.
