Central Connecticut's Billy McKinley Named SECHL Player of the Year
The SECHL announced on Monday that CCSU Blue Devil Billy McKinley was named player of the year. Mckinley netted 29 total points in 19 games and was a clear standout for his team this season. McKinley is no stranger to league-wide accolades as he earned spots on all-conference teams, the all-rookie team, and the SECHL All-Star Challenge roster before. McKinley is not only a standout player, but he also possesses leadership qualities as a captain for the Blue Devils and is a true example of a great teammate. Congratulations to Billy and the CCSU Blue Devils on the achievement, we look forward to seeing what the playoffs hold for this exceptional young athlete.
