Weekly Recap 10/4/24 - 10/6/24
Army was able to pick up two more nonleague wins against NECHA opponents earning wins against UMass Amherst and Bryant University last weekend, moving the Black nights to a perfect 4-0-0 on the season. This weekend they will host Montclair State and Sacred Heart in two league contests.
Sacred Heart earned a come from behind league win against Marist, rallying from a 4-1 Deficit in the first period to defeat the Red Foxes 8-4, scoring 7 unanswered goals in the final 40 minutes. The Pioneers travel to RPI on Friday and then to Army on Sunday.
Clarkson played three non-league contests falling to UVM once and defeating Boston University and the University of Maine in a showcase at UVM. The Golden Knights will have this weekend off before hosting Montclair State on 10/19 + 10/20.
Montclair State defeated Stockton 5-0 last Friday and will travel to Army on Friday and host Siena on Saturday.
Siena fell to Providence College by a score of 6-2 and will host game 1 of the Route 87 Rivalry Series against Marist College this Friday before heading to Montclair State on Saturday evening.
Marist fell to Sacred Heart 8-4 last Saturday and were able to complete a comeback of their own on Friday night against former league foe Central Connecticut State University. The Blue Devils led 4-2 after 1 period and Marist was able to net three in the second period and one in the third to hold CCSU at bay in regulation. Marists sole game this weekend will be at Siena on Friday night.
