The Siena Saints moved to 7-2-0 overall after last week's non league 5-3 win against Rowan University. In the league, Siena has only played one game against Montclair State, of which they topped the Red Hawks 4-2 with an ENG. However, the Saints have the best overall record in the division, taking on some reputable non conference opponents, and their only two losses coming to Niagara and Binghamton. The Saints have been led by netminder Matt McCarthy and first year forward Dominick Oppedsiano.

Meanwhile, the Army Black Nights lead the SECHL Division Standings and sit at 2-2-0 with a series split at Clarkson, a win against Marist, and a 2-1 loss to Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart earning their win against Army in their only league game played to this point. The Army Black Knights also have some pretty impressive wins out of conference, splitting with powerhouse RPI and defeating UMass Amherst 3-1 earlier this season.

While Sacred Heart and Siena sit at 1-0-0 in the league, Army rests at 2-2-0, while Clarkson holds a record of 2-3-1 and will host Sacred Heart for two games this coming weekend. Montclair State earned two regulation wins to hold a 2-1-0 record and Marist has sits at 0-1-0 officially as their game against Sacred Heart was suspended with just about 9:00 minutes remaining in the third period last weekend as a pane of glass broke at the Mid Hudson Civic Center and prevented the game from being completed and looks like it will be completed when Marist visits Sacred Heart later this season.
