It's Breast Cancer Awareness Night in Philly as Drexel hosts Seton Hall for the first time this year. Hockey teams across the country, including the NHL, have an initiative to raise money for breast cancer research across all levels of hockey, from the pros, to college, to youth. According to cancer.org, there has been "over $32 million [raised] since its inception and been at the forefront of raising awareness and supporting those affected by cancer, touching the lives of millions." 

Heading into the October 5th matchup in CSCHC, Seton Hall aims to bounce back after their prior week’s struggles, posting 0 goals in their last two games. With Drexel playing at home and looking to establish early momentum, the stage is set for a test of Seton Hall’s resilience and offensive resolve, trying to break the scoreless drought. Seton Hall needs to tighten up even strength play and on the back end to avoid being out-paced by a fast 1st offensive line for the Dragons. Drexel needs to use their home ice advantage (Seton Hall has long change 2 out of 3 periods) and convert chances when they get zone time. Special teams are likely to play a role in the outcome given both teams’ early-season adjustments.
