Bouzide (A) lifts SOUTHWEST over BRAMPTON, 3-1

Savannah Bouzide (A) had two goals to lead SOUTHWEST to a 3-1 victory over BRAMPTON.

Bouzide (A) found the back of the net 10:32 into the third period to make the score 2-1 SOUTHWEST and again while 11:58 into the third to make the score 3-1 SOUTHWEST.

BRAMPTON was stymied by SOUTHWEST's netminder Emily OBright, who stopped 30 shots during the victory. OBright certainly lowered her goals against average, which was 3.96 entering the contest.

SOUTHWEST also got a goal from Ashley Maitre as well. More assists for SOUTHWEST came via Halle Crane, Taylor Lockwood, Amy Maitre, Avery Mertz, Ellen Donaldson, and Jillian Crane, who each chipped in one.

BRAMPTON forced SOUTHWEST goalie OBright to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

BRAMPTON was led by Chloe Hampson, who scored the team's only goal. Hampson scored 9:54 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Dana Beattie (A) provided the assist.

SOUTHWEST incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. BRAMPTON's Sophia Akhavan-Zanjani stopped 25 shots out of the 28 that she faced. BRAMPTON incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
