Winnipeg Ringette League Finals
It was a busy day at the Gateway Arena, Saturday March 11th, 2017, as the Winnipeg Ringette League Playoffs were coming to a finish.
Springfield’s U16B team overcame East End 4-3 to win Gold in the WRL Final Game. Way to Go Girls!
At 1150, the U12A1 team beat Richmond Suzuki in their final game 7-5 to achieve their Gold Medal! This team is looking ahead to provincials the following weekend.
At 1030 Springfield’s U12B team met opponent Southdale U12A1. The girls gave their best, but lost 2-7. They proudly brought home the Silver medal for their A2 division.
At 1130, the U10 A1 Springfield Storm team played Dakota. It was a very close match, with Dakota securing the win 7-5. These girls wore their Silver medals proudly, as a symbol of a successful season!
There were many supportive Springfield family and friends this Saturday at the Gateway arena. The Blue and Gold of Springfield was hard to miss. Thanks to all of the volunteers, friends and families who make the Springfield Ringette Association Successful!

Springfield’s Cohosted U16A Eastman Heat will participate in the 2017 Western Canadian Ringette Championships held in Winnipeg March 22-25th.
