SRA team wins Gold in Preseason Tournament
This weekend saw some of the SRA’s Ringette teams in the Bonivital Annual Preseason Ringette Tournament.
The U10 team had some fast paced exhibition games with Dakota and Southdale teams while the tournament was happening. It was a great chance for the team to play before the WRL and Eastman season games begin.
The U12 team took to the ice and played Dakota, Selkirk and Southdale. This team met Dakota in the final to win the gold medal! Congratulations team! A great way to start the season.
The U14 team had hard fought games against Dakota, Corydon, and Brandon. They came away with one win, and two losses.
Springfield’s R4U team is still busy with ongoing R4U Assessment skates. Their season games will start soon in November. Over the weekend during some of their ice time, the parents took on the players in a fun parent vs kids game. The R4U’s are looking forward to a Halloween party this Friday to kick off their season!
