SIGNING: STAR OF OMHA CHAMPIONSHIPS COMMITS TO SPIRIT
The Stouffville Spirit of the Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced the signing of Justin Biraben for the 2019-20 season.

Last year’s team: Greater Kingston Jr. Frontenacs Midget AAA
Biraben scored the overtime goal in the gold medal game of the OMHA championships versus Oakville this spring. He scored eight times during five games at the tourney played in Aurora.
“Justin had a great tournament,” Kingston Head Coach Chris Mahon said. “He was the player of the game in the gold medal game. His speed and shot are next-level quality."
Biraben scored 33 points (16 goals/17 assists) in 31 games with Kingston last season.
At the 2019 OHF championships, Biraben was presented the ESSO Scholarship Award for his work in the classroom.
“We are thrilled to add Justin to the Spirit lineup,” said Spirit Head Coach Andre Darlow. “Justin is a bright individual with an incredible skill set.”
The Spirit opens main training camp Aug. 12 at the Stouffville Arena. The OJHL season begins in early September.
