Current Case Western Reserve and former Geneva Red Wings third baseman, Andrew Gronski had a monster game last night. In the Spartans 23-11 win over Guilford College, Andrew went an amazing 6 for 7, with two singles, a double, triple and two home runs. He drove in seven and scored four times as well. When asked about his record-breaking day, he said, "Starting with my first at-bat, I was really seeing the ball well," said Gronski. "I even told the guys in the dugout, I hope this pitcher stays in, because I was picking up the ball well out of his hand."  Andrew is now 11 for 16 this season and he’s driven in 8 runners for Case Western Reserve.

The Hilliard, OH native spent last summer with the Geneva Red Wings of the NYCBL, where he hit .306, with 1 home run and 19 runs batted in. He also scored 12 runs this past summer.
