Trail Blazer Pitcher Picks up Nightly Award

Adirondack Trail Blazer Rollie Lacy is the July 4th Pitcher of the Night in the PGCBL. Lacy, a freshman from Creighton University threw a seven-inning complete game shutout over the Newark Pilots and he won his second game of the summer. He scattered six hits in his start and he fanned seven Pilot batters. He now has a 2-1 record and is sporting a 2.37 ERA in 30.1 innings of work.

Christian Doughty (Adirondack—Holy Cross) pitched three shutout innings in the Trail Blazers first game yesterday. He fanned one batter and he picked up his first save of the season. Krystien Johnson-Battilana (Utica—Indian Hills CC) fanned six in three shutout innings of work yesterday.
