The Westhampton Aviators have now won two games in a row after downing the Ospreys 1-0.

North Fork’s Highlights

  • Pat Haynes (Western Michigan) Loss (0-2), 7 inp, 4 hits, run, 2 bb, 3 k’s
  • Bobby Honeyman (Stony Brook) had two more hits last night and is now hitting .400 this season.

Westhampton’s Highlights

  • Logan Frati (Fairleigh Dickinson) was the starting pitcher and threw five shutout innings. He didn’t walk a batter and he fanned five on the night.
  • Richard Jackson III (Tennessee) earned the win in relief. He threw three-innings of shutout baseball and now has an ERA of 2.25 this season.

 

Shelter Island Bucks (9) at Southampton Breakers (15)

Breakers break out the bats and improve their record to 6-10 this season.

Shelter Island Highlights

  • Chris Hess (Rhode Island) hit his team-leading fifth double of the season yesterday.

Southampton’s Highlights

  • Wagner’s Austin Goeke allowed just one run in seven innings of work last night. He scattered two hits, fanned four and earned his first win of the season.
  • Drew Arciuolo (Fairfield) went 4-for-5 with a triple and four runs scored.
  • Brady Acton (Villanova) had three hits and drove in four last night
  • Tyler Schmitt (George Mason) added three hits of his own yesterday and is now hitting .325 this season.
