Thunderbolt RHP is Among Best in League
One of the best pitchers in the Cal Ripken League is Conrad Wozniak of the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts by way of UMBC. A 6-foot-1 inch, 240 pound right-hander from Cypress, TX, Conrad has quietly put up outstanding numbers this summer.
Conrad is tied for the league-lead in wins with three this summer and he has yet to earn a loss for the Tbolts. His 0.54 ERA this season in tops in the Cal Ripken League and he is among the league-leaders with 33.1 innings of work. He has given up just 20 hits, walked just four and he also leads the league with 31 strikeouts this summer.
