KEENE, NH - The SwampBats have now fallen seven games under .500 with yet another loss, marking their third straight loss. After two straight wins, the ‘Bats are swept off a three game homestand.

The SwampBats got an excellent start from Noah Lewis (University of Maine). Lewis was, as usual, fantastic. In his first start at home, Lewis lasted five strong innings allowing two runs, striking out six. He left the game with the ‘Bats up 6-2 and in line for the win.

The ‘Bats would be up five nothing after one but would end up losing that lead. The game would be blown out of proportion after an 11 run in the sixth inning. The Valley Blue Sox would end up putting it on cruise control and blow out the ‘Bats 16-7.

The only glimpse of life from the ‘Bats offense came from Jackson Ross (Florida Atlantic University). Ross went three for four with two hits that were over 100 mph off the barrel. Ross added an RBI and was fantastic once again for the ‘Bats.

The SwampBats drop to (10-17) and the Valley Blue Sox improve (14-14). The SwampBats will have the day off tomorrow and head to Vermont on Monday. You can catch that game live on Pure Oldies 104.1 FM or on the NECBLnetwork.com.
