Frost Commits to Division I Army
The Syracuse Stars are proud to announce that first year NCDC forward, Kendrick Frost has accepted an offer to play Division I hockey for Army for the fall of 2019.
The 18 year old Kansas City, MO native finished second on the team in scoring with 36 points in 50 games. Known for his heavy shot, Frost emerged into a power forward for the Stars throughout the course of the season.
Frost joins a long list of players who have advanced from the Stars to the NCAA ranks. Syracuse Stars NCDC Head Coach, Paul Kelly commented, "It is a great honor to attend West Point and to be a student-athlete at such a prestigious institution. Kendrick came to the Stars in his first year of junior hockey and worked extremely hard to achieve his dream of becoming a Division I hockey player. The development of his game from day one until the completion of the season was significant and I'm excited to see what the future holds for Kendrick."
Army is a Division I hockey program competing in the Atlantic Hockey Conference.
