Mountaineers Preach Grit after Roster Overhaul

The Montpelier Recreation Field faithful are in for a bit of a shock this season. For the first time ever, there will be no familiar names called over the loudspeaker at Montpelier Recreation Field.
The current 42-man Mountaineers roster returns exactly zero of the players who led the team to a 30-11 regular season record last summer. And the coaching staff is completely different as well.
Nevertheless, the bar remains high for general manager Brian Gallagher and first-year head coach Kevin Smith, a former professional player and retired lieutenant colonel who boasts 13 years of Major League scouting experience.
