2020-21: Tarrant Center and Renovated Gutterson
On Tuesday evening, prior to UVM Basketball's stunning comeback against St. Bonaventure, the University of Vermont announced a $15 million donation from Vermont resident and former healthcare services executive Rich Tarrant. With this generous donation (the largest-ever for a UVM capital project), UVM's brand-new multipurpose arena will be named the Tarrant Events Center. The Tarrant Center, set to open for the 2020-2021 academic year, will be adjacent to a beautifully-renovated Gutterson Fieldhouse.
