Strasburg, Waynesboro Ranked in Final Collegiate Summer Baseball Poll

VBL finalists Strasburg and Waynesboro were each ranked in the final 2016 Collegiate Summer Baseball poll of the year.
The Strasburg Express finish the summer ranked as the 8th-best collegiate summer team in the country, ahead of all but two Cape Cod League squads. The Cape had the top two teams in the rankings with #1 Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox and #2 Falmouth Commodores.
Strasburg tied for the best regular season record in the VBL at 30-12, and finished with a mark of 36-13 after a two-game finals sweep of Waynesboro.
The Waynesboro Generals were also 30-12 in the regular season (34-14 overall), and sits at #22 in the final national rankings.
