The season continues to ramp up with more teams in action on the first weekend of Fall.

The first conference games of the 2016-2017 season will take place this weekend as WCCHA newcomers UW-La Crosse open their sesason by hosting St. Cloud State. While UWL will be looking to start thier WCCHA journey on the right foot, they face a stiff test in SCSU. The Huskies are always a strong league contender, and will be looking to begin the new year with two in the win column.

In non-conference action, a special weekend of hockey will take place in the Twin Cities as St. Thomas and Minnesota host ACHA D1 Navy. Click here to read more about these games.

In addition, Wisconsin will look to continue thier hot start with a home weekend against another in-state opponent, Marquette University. With the WCCHA season right around the corner, the Badgers will hope to ride their early momentum to two more victories. Forwards Ian Klotz (7 pts), Grigory Terlov (4 pts) and Brien Martin (4 pts) will lead the UW effort against the Golden Eagles.
