Sharks Win Game 1 in Double OT
Sharks began their PJHL Stobbs quarterfinal series against league rival Essex 73s. The Sharks began period 1 on the attack, controlled the play and set the temp outshooting the 73s 12-6, and taking a 1-0 lead on a goal by Braedon Caetano. Essex bounced back to tie the game in the 2nd. Essex controlled more of the play in the 3rd, but the Sharks rallied playing some great hockey in Overtime, leading to Drew Denomey game winning in the second overtime period. Game 2 set for Wednesday back in Wheatley.
