TRYOUTS: Sunday, August 2nd 2PM @ Hinson Field (2300 Eva Dr, 28027)
Mission: Help high school players improve their individual showcase metrics and gain exposure to targeted colleges while challenging them with games against other top talent. Graduating classes 2021, 2022, & 2023.
Goal: See graduating seniors reach their dream of playing college baseball. To find each player a school that fits him academically, socially, athletically, and economically. We will strive each season to train players to showcase their talent, schedule games to push competition and challenge our players so that they are prepared for their next level.
Benefits of the Program:
- Our team schedules will not interfere with a high school athlete’s school sports.
- Our teams have their own outdoor full size field to practice and play at.
- The organization will have a very knowledgeable coaching staff that sets general guidelines and keeps the team organized. A’s coaches have extensive connections with area college coaches to make contacts and personally reach out to coach’s on players behalf
- Continual progress checks for throwing velocity, exit velocity, and 60 times.
- 2 sets of uniforms with practice jerseys and hats.
- Cost structure that allows for more individual options on playing tournaments and going to college camps that are player specific.
- Partnership with American Legion team to allow for most games at reasonable costs to build community and strengthen local baseball overall.

- Aug - Team practices to prepare showcase mentality for tryouts at colleges and showcase events.
- Sep - Showcase Tournaments begin - Team Practices continue with focus on metrics (velo, speed, batting approaches)
- Oct - Showcase Tournaments continue - Team Practices continue with focus on metrics (velo, speed, batting approaches)
- Nov - Team Practices – with focus on individual college camps
- Dec - Off Season
- Jan - Individual evaluations / goal setting for year with coaches.
- Feb - “Off” High School Baseball Season
- Mar - “Off” High School Baseball Season
- Apr - “Off” High School Baseball Season
- May - Team Practice and evaluation check – Legion Tryouts / Games
- Jun - Team Practice and evaluation check – Legion Games
- Jul - Season begins - Team Practices start at end of Legion season
