All team officials and club executives require a criminal record check as per BC Soccer guidelines.
Below is the comment from BCSA’s Criminal Record Check Best Practices.
- Criminal record checks can be completed from approved agencies, which include the RCMP, Municipal Police Departments and BackCheck.com.
- The DYSA will accept CRC's from other organizations. Each Club is responsible for ensuring that all CRC's are completed and kept for the duration of the team official or club executives term.
- Any individual, who has completed a criminal record check for another organization within the last 4 months, is able to share this criminal record check with the club, district, or league; unless the club, district orleague outlines within their Risk Management Policy that original criminal record check must be received.
