Our Mission:
The JR Lightning will be committed to being the Model program for the Durham West Organization. We will be a well-trained, disciplined and a selfless team who will competently and confidently prepare for the challenges of our schedule and opponents. We will be relentless in our work ethic, determined in executing details, and persistent in establishing good habits. Our athletes will serve as Ambassadors of Durham West, the Durham Region and the Sport of Hockey. Our behavior must continuously adhere to established values and ethical standards of conduct. We will always conduct ourselves in a manner compatible with, and respectful of, the culture of the Durham West Organization.
