Flip Collins:
Flip Collins recently completed his sixth season as hockey director and head coach at Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, VA. Coach Collins has guided the Knights to an 80-51-16 record in those six season's and all of his O'Connell teams have qualified for post-season play with the 2018-19 team participating in the USA Hockey High School Nationals. Coach Collins has built the Knight's hockey program up to over 50 players and three teams.
Coach Collins has also been active in local youth hockey having coached the the Washington Little Caps 2004 AAA team. He previously coached with the Ashburn Xtreme, where he guided the U16 AA #2 teams for birth years 1995-96 and 1998-99 to the PVAHA state championship games. All four of his Xtreme teams reached the CBHL post seasons.
Coach Collins grew up in Springfield, Mass. and played prep hockey at Trinity Pawling Prep School in Pawling, New York.
