Be Part of the Action with the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp!
Playing a 60-game season starting June 1 and running through mid-August, the Pistol Shrimp's home field at Veterans Memorial Park in Peru, IL. The team represents the Illinois Valley community of Lasalle, Bureau and Putnam Counties with a population of 150,000. A Pistol Shrimp game is an affordable, fun, family-friendly experience.
In addition to developing up and coming top level baseball players from around the country, the Pistol Shrimp games provide a way for students in a variety of other fields to gain valuable work and internship experience. The Pistol Shrimp employ interns working towards sports management, communication, entertainment, marketing, athletic training, and many other college degrees.
