Chad Ehrnsberger - Head Coach

Coach Chad Ehrnsberger returns for the 2025 season.  He formerly served as the Lima Locos head coach during the 2013-2016 seasons.  During his tenure as head coach the Locos won League Championships in 2015 and 2017, and thirty-six (36) Loco players were either drafted or signed Major League Baseball affiliated contracts. 

Ehrnsberger played infield for Ohio State for three seasons before transferring to the University of Central Florida for his senior season.  His collegiate awards include being a four-time All-American, First Team Academic All-American and Big Ten Scholar Athlete.

Ehrnsberger also played nine years in the minor leagues of the MLB.  During his time in the minor leagues, Ehrnsberger was a five-time All-Star and accumulated a batting average of over .300 with 91 home runs.  His teams made the playoffs in six of his nine seasons.


 

Tyler Anderson

Tyler Anderson is from Lima, Ohio and is a Berea College Baseball coach. After spending 5 year playing college baseball at Bowling Green State University and 3 with the summer collegiate team the Lima Locos, he has coached at the both the high school and college level. Leading up to coaching with Berea, Tyler spent 4-years coaching at 3 different High Schools in different roles, both at an assistant and a head coach. He also spent time forming and helping with a Fall High School Baseball league for NW Ohio.

Dylan Healy

Dylan Healy currently serves as an assistant coach on the University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH) staff. Prior to arriving at UNOH, he was a student manager for four seasons at Dixie State University (now Utah Tech University). He began coaching in the summer of 2022 as an assistant with the Marshall Gates Foundation Marshalls in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Healy graduated from Dixie State with his Bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in Economics, graduating from the honors program. In 2021, he was awarded Student of the Year in the Finance program.

Healy is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Taylorsville High School. He has his own practice as a financial advisor.

Kyle Baker

Kyle Baker was named as assistant baseball coach and joined head coach Rick Espeset's coaching staff in December 2022. 

In his first year with the Spartans, Baker helped lead Manchester back to the 2023 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) baseball tournament after finishing the regular season with an overall record of 21-18, and a 12-10 record in conference play. Five Spartans earned All-HCAC Honors, including 2023 HCAC Newcomer of the Year Joel Kennedy. The 2023 team finished the season tied for second all-time in Manchester history with 45 home runs in a single season. The Spartans are also ranked fifth all-time in doubles with 104 and fifth all-time in struck out batters with 263 as a team this season. 

Baker graduated from the University of Saint Francis (USF) with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Sports Management in May of 2018. During his time as a Cougar, Baker was a three-year member of the baseball program, where his primary position was catcher. 

Following graduation, Baker spent time as an assistant baseball and football coach for Adams Central High School located in Monroe, Ind. before joining the University of Saint Francis baseball program as a volunteer assistant coach. At USF, Baker's primary coaching duties included base-running and catching. He also assisted in all other aspects of the game and practices.
