Martha's Vineyard Sharks

2013 FCBL Hitting Leader, Ryan Siegel, and 2013 FCBL MVP and Championship MVP, Dylan Tice, hold the Championship trophy.

Martha's Vineyard Sharks

The Martha's Vineyard Sharks, a summer collegiate baseball team, started their inaugural season in 2011. The team is part of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England (FCBL). There are 8 teams in the league. Each team will play 56 games, thereby creating tremendous rivalries.

To play in the FCBL, potential players must have NCAA eligibility remaining at the start of each season. This typically applies to freshmen, sophomore and junior class players from 4-year affiliated institutions, with limited exceptions. High school players (with a possible exception for each team), college seniors and college players with no NCAA or NAIA eligibility remaining are ineligible.

The team will have a maximum of 30 players on the roster. There is a requirement that half of the team's roster must be from the New England area or have attended a college in the New England area.
