Contact: don@mysticbaseball.org - Send resume and references. Additionally, if you have work sample related to the internship you are applying for, please send it as well.
Mystic Schooners Baseball is a 501C3 non-profit franchise residing in Mystic, CT. We are a summer collegiate team and the only remaining charter franchise in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL)--one of America’s most renowned amateur baseball leagues. Our team features players from all across the United States and Canada that have the potential to make it to the Major Leagues. In the NECBL, 1/3 of the league's players will make it to Major League Baseball.
Interns are an integral part of our operations, and work extremely hard to make every season in Southeastern Connecticut more successful than the last. Our graduate interns have gone on to work for the Providence Bruins, Pawtucket Red Sox, Boston Celtics, Oakland A's, Miami Marlins, as well as various college athletic programs. 2020 applications are being accepted for in-season and pre-season credits.
Housing: If you live outside of our area working in the Mystic area the Schooners may be able to provide housing with a host family beginning in June.
Credit: We assist our college interns with college credits toward their sports management major. High School interns receive credit hours toward community service requirements. A Schooners internship is a powerful resume builder!
Hours: Schooners interns can expect to work from 25-35 hours per week during the nine-week during the season. Off season sales and marketing internships are on flexible hours according to your schedule.
