The Prescott Russell Basketball Club (PRBC) is a registered not-for-profit sport association promoting a love for the game of basketball and developing a solid foundation of skill and knowledge. Since 1998, PRBC offers Basketball programs to girls and boys in the Prescott Russell area including Embrun, Limoges, Russell, Casselman, St. Albert, Metcalfe, Winchester, Chesterville, Morewood, and Marionville, just to name a few - all between the ages of 5 and 18.
PRBC is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board members are responsible for all of PRBC's operations. PRBC offers the following basketball programs to both girls and boys: Jr. Rockets (ages 5-7), House League (ages 8-16), Competitive (Rep) (ages 10-18) and Spring League (ages 6-15). PRBC also offers Ontario Basketball Certification and Mentoring to develop our future coaches and a volunteer/community service program for our high school students, to help achieve their high school commitments. This is a perfect way to give something back to your community or develop your leadership skills, all while having fun.
The PRBC coaching staff consists of qualified Ontario Basketball coaches who bring years of competitive and developmental coaching experience to the Club. These coaches have coached at local, regional and provincial competitions with incredible success for a small-town organization.
As with any volunteer organization, there is always a need to recruit more volunteers ... be it coaching, managing, being a team treasurer, helping a 6 year-old learn how to dribble, the opportunities are endless.
