
Coach Schorr has 30 years of coaching experience and an impressive 50 years of playing experience. Mr. Schorr is a USA Hockey Certified Coach, Level 4 who has coached Mite through Midget youth hockey, in addition to Varsity High School Hockey. Mr. Schorr has been with the Abington program since the program was resurrected in the 1990's watching the program grow from infancy, through several undefeated seasons in the mid 2000's.
Coach Schorr holds an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Villanova University (where he played hockey and was senior captain of the Wildcats) and a graduate degree in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University. He has strong local ties, in that he grew up in Lower Buck County (where he played High School and was senior caption of the Neshaminy High School Ice Hockey team), and his business and his home have both been located in Abington Township for the last 30 years.
