The University: Founded in 1856, Seton Hall University is a private Catholic University located in the village of South Orange, New Jersey. The University boasts an undergraduate population of approximately 5,500 students on a beautiful 58-acre campus that is situated less than 20 miles outside of New York City. Seton Hall offers its students over 60 different undergraduate majors in eight different schools and Colleges- Arts and Sciences, Business, Diplomacy and International Relations, Health and Medical Sciences, Education and Human Services, Law, Nursing, Theology and Continuing Education. The University was ranked 126th in the nation by US News Best College Rankings, as well as ranking among the top in the nation with Graduate and Law Schools at 68th. Seton Hall University recently completed a $100 million campus infrastructure project that included the expansion of Aquinas Hall, a new addition to the parking deck that includes almost 600 additional parking spaces, a state-of-the-art recreation center for students and the reconstruction of Stafford Hall that includes 12 brand new classrooms to accommodate a variety of class sizes.
