Hello Blue fans!!
As the 2014-2015 Western States Hockey League season approaches, the Lake Tahoe Blue Junior A Hockey Club are in need of more “Host Families” for team members. After our first season last year, we’re excited about the progress we’ve made in just one year but are hungry for more!
This will be our second season in South Lake Tahoe. Our players are 16-20 years of age and most will look for employment while in South Lake Tahoe.
Many families in the area have joined the Blue family by taking on one of the most important jobs on the team – offering young player’s accommodations for the season.
Blue billet families receive $350/month along with season tickets and other benefits from the Blue!!
Many players who have come through the Blue program still have great relationships with their host families and continue to stay in touch after their junior hockey careers come to an end.
