College Exposure? Development?

For the last 26 Years, Headfirst has helped thousands of high school players develop their game with a goal of playing post high school. We have had over 500 players go on to college and over 75 selected in the MLB Draft with 12 reaching the MLB!  This all starts in our Upper Division (14U-18U).

DEVELOPMENT

Player Development is what separates Headfirst from other organizations. Our experienced owners and staff have played professionally, in college, worked as scouts, agents, and have worked with players since the late 1990's. Our "Approach" and "Style of Play" is often noted by college coaches that see our players and is respected at all levels of the game.

We have a large indoor Academy in Pleasanton where players practice weekly and can come in  to work out with weights, med balls, plyo's or get extra work in the cages .

SHOWCASES

We prepare the players for Showcasing and then put them in front of college coaches at a young age so that coaches can watch them develop over 2-3 years. We have hosted our own Showcases since 2007. We are able to put our players in front of 40+ coaches in our events in the Summer/Fall. This includes JC's to D1's.

Other programs may go to large events and you never know who is watching or attending. In our events, the college recruiters are on the field with the players and interacting. We have relationships with most schools throughout CA and communicate with coaches weekly.

We also travel to AZ for the Fall Classic for top players in each grad year.
