Fort Bragg Exhibition a Big Success!
On this past Saturday morning the team travelled to Fort Bragg, NC to take on the Patriots, the organized team on base. It was a hard fought battle against great competition, but at the end of the game the Pirates came out on top over the Patriots with a score of 7-6. Goals were scored by Cameron Gross (3), Thomas Bruening (2), Justin Hess, and Hudson Sheaffer. After the game, the Patriots were kind enough to hold a BBQ out in the parking lot, and fuel up the boys with burgers and dogs. It was a great way to get the feet moving to start the season, and now the Pirates look to take on N.C State next on Friday, September 27th at 8:30 at the Polar IcePlex.
