Philadelphia Little Flyers’ David Wilf Commits to George Mason Hockey
George Mason University Hockey is excited to announce their second commitment of the 2020-2021 recruiting class, David Wilf.
Wilf played for the Philadelphia Little Flyers, in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) Premier Division, and the Lower Merion High Varsity Hockey team this past season. In 33 games for the Little Flyers, the defenseman collected 17 points. Wilf put up 58 points in 63 games through his high school career with Lower Merion and was an assistant captain this season.
"David is a hard-working, smooth-skating player, who has a great sense for the game. He has played both forward and defense and can fill in where needed. He will be a great addition to the team for the next four years. His attitude, work ethic and leadership qualities are exactly what we are looking for when we are recruiting players," commented Coach Alex Grose.
Wilf is the second player to commit to George Mason for their first year at the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division I level.
"I'm looking forward to the upcoming season and getting to work with the coaches and all my new teammates. Mason's competitiveness in their league has shown what is expected of their incoming players, and I am motivated to fill that role for them," said Wilf.
