The Hamilton Joes were recently ranked as the 21st best summer collegiate baseball team in the country by Collegiate Summer Baseball. This is the first set of rankings for the summer.

The Hamilton Joes have a record of 11-7 so far this summer. As a team, the Joes are hitting .277 and have an ERA of 3.41. They got off to a hot 6-1 start which included a three-game sweep of the Xenia Scouts. In the series, the Joes scored 41 runs. Later in the month, they swept the Copperheads in a few tight games. Avery Janning has hit .349 with a home run, three doubles, and 22 hits. Jacob Webb is 3-0 as a pitcher with a 3.25 ERA in his four starts. He has 21 strikeouts through 19 1/3 innings.

Collegiate Summer Baseball covers over 30 leagues and 250 teams nationwide. The top three teams were all members of the Cape Cod League – the Cotuit Kettleers, the Orleans Firebirds, and the Chatham Anglers.
