A Copperheads (5-7) error allowed Blake Bowen (University of Akron) to score from third base. Kaden Brown (Kennesaw State) delivered an RBI-single and Liam Richards (Yavapai College) capped it off with a sacrifice fly.

That was all Lima starting pitcher Matteo Pare (Pensacola State College) needed as he produced his third quality start of the season. Pare went five innings giving up just one run on five hits improving his record to 2-0 on the season.

Wright, who is an incoming freshman to University of Louisiana, went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. The baby faced youngster joined the team on Friday and is off to a great start going 6-for-10 for the weekend in his first ever collegiate competition.
