Stevie Erwin and Brock Frazer have been selected as members of the ACHA D3 All Star Selects.  The Selects are comprised of the most elite players in the ACHA D3 who have been chosen through a combination of their career performance and their play while participating in the ACHA All Star tournament in Philadelphia this past Spring.

Erwin, a sophomore goal tender for Xavier University had a stellar season that impressed coaches throughout the Atlantic Region which earned him the invite to Philly where his play was extraordinary.  Fraser, the leading scorer for the Ball State Cardinals, is a Junior who entered the tournament with little fanfare as BSU is a new program to the ACHA.  He made his presence known in short order while in Philly as he was a stand out player among the countries best.

"I had the privilege to coach both of these guys during the tournament and of course Stevie the past two years.  This is a well earned honor and I emphasize earned" said Xavier coach Tim Driscoll who served on the All Start team staff in Philly.  "I knew they were special players but the validation comes in how quickly the selection committee identified them" Driscoll continued.

The Selects will travel to Europe over the Winter break with the schedule to be announced in the next few weeks.  Congrats to Stevie and Brock for this huge accomplishment and for helping to further cement the ICHC is a formidable conference
