Xavier University (White)

Key Players: Alex Moore (D), Ben Higgins (G), Coly Sassano (F)

# Of Players Returning: 11

What Kind of season does the head coach anticipate for the season: We will be very competitive. We have built a strong foundation around a few of the underclassman. With their skill, and senior leadership, the team is looking forward to taking a big step forward

What challenges do you anticipate: Each year brings upon new challenges. The first few weeks we will work on building chemistry and forming the best forward lines and defensive pairings. As coaches, we might not get it 100% right the first time, but we will work through various combinations until we find the right fit for each player. Our defense and goal tending will be strong, but we need to find guys that can bury the puck.

Strengths of the team: Senior leadership will play a large role in the success of the team. As our seniors go, so will the rest of the team. They will need to set the tone from day one. We will also head into the season with a lot more depth than we've had in the past. We are returning a solid amount of players, and look forward to greeting the incoming freshman.

Coach Quote: As a coach, and Xavier alumni, it is very encouraging to see the positive steps this program has taken over the past few years. Not only by joining a strong conference, but also by building relationships with other teams and players. With strong competition within the conference, each team will be fighting for a league championship. We will do everything we can to make sure we put ourselves in the best situation to do just that.
