A Hoosier Dynasty!
The Indiana Hoosiers season long dominance culminated in a dominating playoff performance, winning the championship game 8-0 versus the Miami Redhawks. IU's roll extends well beyond this season, dating all the way back to 2015 when they won their first Crossroads Cup. Indiana has not lost a conference game during this time and has risen to an all time program high of #6 North Region Ranking. The additions to the conference of Trine and Miami, both ranked teams, were seen as having the potential to finally challenge the Hoosiers, but that was not the case.
"Personally, I am very proud of my IU teams 4th consecutive conference championship" said coach Manard. "We are intent to play strong, competitive hockey as we continue to ramp up towards Regional competition. We had both scoring and excellent zone play from everyone one of our guys and our goaltending was spot on" Manard continued.
The Hoosiers head to regionals on top of their game and will be a team to watch as the competition for a spot in the National playoffs gets going next week.
