The Jr. Mariners squared off against the cross town Jr. Eagles Tuesday night at Henderson field. The two teams met for their third time this season in league play with each team having a win each. On Tuesday night it was all Mariners. The Juniors pounded out 11 hits on route to a 10-0 mercy win in 6 innings. Harrison Hurford went the distance for the M’s pitching a complete game 4 hit shutout and also helped out at the plate going 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs. Zeke Holt also had 2 RBIs, Caleb Piechnik had 2 hits and scored 3 runs, Jon Gale was 2 for 3 with 2 runs, and Dawson Neal had 2 hits including a line drive in the bottom of the 6th to end the game. The Mariners had solid defence turning 3 double plays to end Eagle threats. The Eagles never advanced a runner past 2nd base. 

The two teams face off again on Thursday night July 16th, 6:00 pm at Lambrick park for their last meeting of the regular season. Come on out and cheer on the Mariners! Go M's!
