Premier Mariners Make All-Conference Teams!
The Victoria Mariners Baseball Club is pleased to announce that two Premier Mariners players have been selected to BCPBL All-Conference Teams this year!
Jason Willow, the M's starting shortstop has been selected to the First All-Conference Team and will play on the multi-province Futures Team. Seginowich, who caught the majority of the M's games this past season and is known for his mighty bat, was named to the Second All-Conference Team and will continue to play with Team BC this year.
Both boys were also selected to Team BC this past August, where Willow celebrated Team BC's third straight championship and brought home a gold medal. Seginowich, unfortunately suffered an ankle injury just prior to the tournament and was unable to join Willow and the rest of Team BC in Saskatchewan.
Seginowich and Willow head to Toronto next to participate in the Toronto Blue Jay's T12 Tournament Showcase. We are so proud of these two outstanding athletes and wish them much success!
