Mariners Teams Show Well in Weekend Play!
The Premier and Junior Mariner Fall Ball teams both returned victorious after weekends away. The seniors, who ventured to Kamloops for the Best of the West Qualifier, went 4-0 (Okotoks Dawgs, Whalley Chiefs, VIBI Nanaimo, and the wild card contender) to advance to the final game. Unfortunately, the Premier M's could not complete the final game as returning home today was a priority. Highlights fo the last game included home runs from both Tyler Schindel and Jason Willow, as well as a no-hitter for Dylan Price.
The Juniors were equally successful in the Langley Blaze Jamboree in Langley this weekend. The Junior team also defeated all four teams they played.
