Blue Sign Norcal Forward Connor Melton
The Lake Tahoe Blue hockey team, members of the Western States Hockey League are proud to announce the signing of Norcal player Connor Melton.
Melton joins the Blue after spending last season with the Capital Thunder Midget team. Melton is the 3rd player from the Thunder team to join the Blue.
"I am very excited that Connor has commited to play his junior hockey with the Blue," Head Coach Mike Richardson said. "I had the chance to watch Connor play this summer at a showcase, and every game the puck seemed to always be around him, he scored, he made plays, things just happened," Richardson said. "When I joined the Blue I made it clear that I wanted to have Califorina talent and even more so, Norcal talent on this team. There are so many good players in this region," Richardson says.
