Blue Add Swedish Forward To Line Up
The Lake Tahoe Blue hockey team, members of the Western States Hockey League are proud to announce the signing of Charlie Hammerback.
Hammerback comes to the Blue from his home country of Sweden. Last year Hammerback played for the Haninge Achors U20 Div 1 team. In 25 games played, Hammerback collected 10 points.
“Charlie is a good sign for our hockey team,” Head Coach Mike Richardson says. “He gets under the other teams skin, he is always around the play and he creates opportunities for his line mates with his style of play,” Richardson says. “Every team you need a player like Charlie. Charlie is going to help our team take another step closer at a championship,” Richardson said.
The Lake Tahoe Blue report for Training Camp August 25 with their first pre-season game on September 5th vs. Santa Rosa College.
