Russia uses shootout to best Lake Tahoe, 1-0 (2-1 SO)
Efim Gurkin scored the clinching goal in a shootout, and Russia picked up the extra point in a 1-0 (2-1 SO) win over the Lake Tahoe Blue.
The shootout lasted for four attempts between the teams. Lake Tahoe got a shootout goal from Nathan Chiarlitti. Russia's other shootout goal was scored by Roman Rukavishnikov.Russia was led by Gurkin, who took one shot.
